I thought it was about time that I introduced you to our animals properly! We have so many and even as I’m writing this I am convinced I have forgotten a few… And I’m going to ignore the fact that Sadie has been featured in nearly every single blog post I’ve done so far….
Meg is a black labrador who is 13 years old and we’ve had her most of her life, originally belonging to my Aunt and Uncle, and she is possibly the greediest dog alive! Oh, and she loves cuddles and attention!
Heidi is another black lab and is about 10 years old. We got her from the RSPCA as a puppy as her one of her owners died and the other couldn’t cope with a puppy on their own. She loves walks, food, and doesn’t mind the odd cuddle either!
Sadie is our only Jack Russell and has just turned 4 this year! I needn’t say much more about this one because you already know so much! She isn’t as innocent as she looks though…
Rob, or Roberto as I like to call him, is my Grandparent’s golden lab and they live in one of the cottages. He is the cheekiest and silliest dog of them all!
Jack & Jill
Even though these two don’t live here, they might as well as it is practically their second home! I couldn’t not include them! Be warned though… Jack won’t say no to a biscuit!
So I’ve tried something a bit different for this post. I’ve written this for my Creative Writing Seminar. If you’ve read the previous posts in my blog you will know this is all based on true events, but I have embellished one in particular to fit with the task which was to write about transformation. For those of you who love to hear about Sadie, this is a post for you. Continue reading “Little Dog”
As always Easter time at Scotchy brings about lots of new little animals, including lambs, little piggies and this year we even had a duck! Obviously I had to take a selfie with it – I mean, who wouldn’t?! It was a stereotypical little yellow duckling which everyone fell in love with as soon as they saw it – again, who wouldn’t?! Unfortunately, there is a story.. and there’s no easy way to say this but, the duck is no more… Continue reading “EASTER.. and all the drama that comes with it!”
